
Andrew Schofield established the Schofield brand when he founded Schofield Publishing UK in 1999, with a small staff and one magazine. Following the success of his flagship title, Venture, he took the magazine and the concept to the United States, where he founded the Chicago office.
Today in the UK Schofield Publishing has two offices and publishes eight business-to-business magazines that are distributed throughout Great Britain and Europe. These titles offer readers the opportunity to learn about best practices in areas such as: manufacturing, food and drink, construction, oil and gas, railway, utilities, supply chain and general business areas.
Schofield Publishing UK is based in Norwich, Norfolk, and Chipping Ongar, Essex, and employs over 100 staff across the two sites. The Chipping Ongar office opened following the successful acquisition of Hartford Publications in 2004, and the integration of its two titles – Railway Strategies and Modern Utility Management - into Schofield’s portfolio.
